To Buy or Not To Buy
I'm still trying to decide if I want to purchase the full version of UltraFractal for $69. Any opinions?
Hi Terry, UF seems super powerfull, but almost needs a degree to use it. UF 5 is like $130. How do you find the results compared to Apophysis in terms of results vs ease of use?
I believe the $130 version includes video? The product is offered in a $39 version that does not include layers & masks. I am learning the ins & outs of Ultra Fractal. The more I practice, the better results I am seeing. I am leaning toward the $69 version as I do some work in Photoshop and the layer/mask features are similiar.
I actually find Ultra Fractal easier to use than Apophysis or Sterling2. It may just be that I am using a MAC for Ultra Fractal and Windows 7 for the other two programs.
All in all there are certain features that I like and dislike about each program. Since Apophysis and Sterling2 are free, I'll use them when I like.
Have you tried any of the apps for fractals? Some are really good.
