Cool Ripple Effect

I like this cool ripple effect in UltraFractal.  It reminds me of the sun or moon setting over a lake.  Day 40 of the evaluation trial & all is well :)

Tuesday's Tile

Aptly named, lol :)

Here is a great fractal background.  It kinda reminds me of floor tile.

Something 4 Sunday

I have observed many awesome fractals through Pinterest.   So many that I started to copy and paste them, then decided just to add a link to my Pinterest fractal art board.  Here it is:

Enjoy :)

Freaky Friday

I guess Ultra Fractal has taken pity on me and is continuing to let me use the "evaluation" mode even though I have topped out at 32 days.  Yeah me :)

Here's a flower to say Thank You!

Back to Fractal Serendipity

Today I'm back to using the Fractal Serendipity app.  After a 30 day trial period, I still cannot make up my mind about the purchase of Ultra Fractal.  Today I have been working on "orbs".  These are todays offerings in jpeg format:

Please share if you like, just make sure you give proper credit to me & the app :-)

Two 4 Tuesday

Two fractals for Tuesday.  Both rendered on my last day (sigh) of the Ultra Fractal free trial.

Both images show that fractals can be cropped to make interesting backgrounds.

Back to Windows...

I switched back to the Windows laptop today (giving the MAC a much needed rest).
We all know fractals can be quiet complicated so I decided to share a few of my simple fractals today.  Hey, it's Monday, lets give our brains a chance to ease into the week.

Above is a fractal created in Apophysis.  Simple, yet beautiful.  Below is a fractal created in Sterling2.  Simple, yet classy.

Planet Color

I find that the app Fractal Serendipity makes beautiful orbs.  This is very helpful for those of us into solar system art.

There's a starman.........

Today's journey...a flight to the stars (using the Fractal Serendipity app).

Three 4 Thursday

The following three fractals are basically the same fractal rendered three different ways (using once again the trial version of Ultra Fractal for MAC).

*the original creative render

*using layers to effect color, opacity & texture

Snowflake in June

Here is something I was working on to keep me cool on this hot day.

Seriously thinking I love UltraFractal and I'm going to have to spend the money.

Round N Round

This one turned out kinda cool.  I started with the Mandelbrot & then skewed it a bit.  7 days left on the UltraFractal program trial period.

To Buy or Not To Buy

I'm still trying to decide if I want to purchase the full version of UltraFractal for $69.  Any opinions?

Fractal of the Day

Todays fractal art was made with the app Fractal Serendipity.
I call it "Spinning Top".

Thanks for stopping by :)

Tuesday's Fractal

Tuesday's fractal turned out pretty well.  I tried using several layers, but the truth is, the fractal looked best with just one layer.
Once again, ignore the watermarks.  I'm still working on the trial version of UltraFractal.

Apophysis Afternoon

I just added a few simple photoshop backgrounds to give you some idea of what I was talking about in my last post.

Apophysis Monday

Wake Up!!!!  It's Monday!!!!

Today I'm back to experimenting in Apophysis 2.09

This is a render I call "Lacey".  One thing I like about Apophysis is that the flames can be rendered with a transparent background.  This allows for artistic processing in other programs such as Corel Painter or Adobe Photoshop.
